Badge Understanding

*Each Badge is handcrafted by the artist, then a mold is created around it and cast. Because of this, no one badge will be exactly alike. We pride ourselves on the quality of our badges.*

 Though the essence of the badge is taken from Afro-Centric themes and inspiration, absolutely NONE of the markings are taken from a specific tribe of people. As an artist of color, I wanted to take what was familiar and what I grew up with from my culture, and create my own world. This is from my imagination. As a child there was African and African-American art all over both my parents, and my grandparents house. I have taken both my love for the culture and experiences to create my own fictional world loosely based in this one.
